McCartney|This has got to be by far the best book written on the Bg5 Variation of the Najdorf in years! Sure, many repertoire books recommend 6.Bg5 for White and give White their lines. Others have some variation for Black recommended against 6.Bg5, whether that be the Poisoned Pawn like the book||Where the book really excels is looking at the 6 Bg5 Najdorf from White's viewpoint. The main Black alternatives are given detailed treatment, and the lines given to bust the poisoned pawn with 10 e5 dxe5 11 fxe5 Nfd7 are especially good. (Victor Rumsey Br
